Anxiety

Chronic anxiety is a measurable, treatable condition, not just stress that will not go away on its own.

What it can involve

  • Generalized anxiety
  • Panic
  • Racing thoughts
  • Restlessness
  • Sleep disruption

Anxiety disorders involve persistent, often disproportionate worry that does not fade once the stressor passes. Generalized anxiety disorder is diagnosed when that worry is hard to control most days for six months or more. It shows up physically too: a racing heart, restlessness, brain fog, because anxiety is a whole-body stress response, not only a thought pattern.

Anxiety is treatable with cognitive behavioral therapy, medication, lifestyle changes, or a combination of these. We start with an EEG brain map to see what your own brain activity shows, then build a plan around that instead of guessing.
